We're proud to announce that we have achieved gold certification from Masternaut for our efforts to reduce our company's carbon emissions. We lowered our CO2 output by over 2,000 kg in 2018, despite it being one of Hycontrol's busiest ever years. This saving has taken place across our company vehicle fleet and has been verified using Masternaut's patented fuel usage monitoring technology.
Hycontrol's Mark Stevenson said: "This certification shows that we are serious about doing our bit to improve the environment and to try to counter the effects of climate change. Masternaut informs us that their customers have collectively cut 230,000 tonnes co CO2 and CO2-equivalent emissions from their vehicle fleets. By working together like this, we can make a difference."
Hycontrol will continue to work to improve our carbon efficiency and reduce our company emissions. We hope that we are not only able to help reduce emissions in industry but that we can encourage other companies to do their part as well.
